Christmas is coming to GoLearn!

Join us for our FREE Christmas Crafts drop-in event at Hinckley and Coalville this December. This drop-in event is open to all ages, whether you want to try your hand at some Christmassy crafting or simply sit and enjoy a chat and a mince pie – no booking necessary. Try your hand(s) at some festive sign language with our FREE British Sign Language Online – A Christmas Taster course. This taster is the perfect way to learn a some BSL and get yourself in the seasonal mood. There are two 1hr sessions available at 12:30pm, and 2pm on Friday 15^th December 2023.

Would you like to make yourself, or someone else, something special for Christmas 2023? Our Wellbeing Saturdays: Christmas Pottery course is designed to be a fun Christmas themed pottery day, where you will learn how to create pieces using ceramic techniques such as pinch, slab and coil pottery. This is an all-day course, available at our Enderby Adult Learning Centre from 10am till 15:30pm, on Saturday 2^nd December 2023.

Ever wondered what an Italian, German or French Christmas is like? Our languages team are offering you and your family the opportunity to learn about the festive traditions of Italy, Germany, France, and Spain this December. You will also learn a little of the language to impress your friends and family over the dinner table! The FREE sessions are available for online enrolment (see links above), with detailed course information included.

• See our tree at the All Saints with Holy Trinity Church Christmas Tree Festival in Loughborough. The event runs from 2^nd December and is open Saturdays and Thursdays till to Thursday 21st December, between 10 am to 4 pm, entrance is FREE. Visit the event website for more information.
• Join our team at Wigston Library on Saturday 9^th December, from 10:30am till 1:30pm, where we will be joining local groups from across the Wigston area to celebrate Christmas, and showcase what services are available to residents this winter.
