We offer everything from Digital Functional Skills Qualification, designed for absolute beginners, through to the advanced ICDL Level 3 certification.
If you are looking to learn IT skills for everyday life, we have a range of introductory courses which are perfect for absolute beginners… and those looking to gain a little more confidence.
We also offer a range of specialist IT courses, perfect to boost your skills at work, or simply to discover a new hobby! Specialist subjects include: Photo Editing, QuickBooks and Website Development (using WordPress).

Digital Skills Qualifications

Digital Functional Skills Qualification (Entry Level)
This beginner’s course introduces learners to a wide range of digital activities available today. Discover how to get started with the Internet and communicate online whilst understanding more on the use of computers and other digital devices in everyday life.

Digital Functional Skills Qualification (Level 1)
An ideal follow on from the Entry 3 Digital Functional Skills Qualification (DFSQ) or Essential Digital Skills Qualification (EDSQ E3) course. This course is designed for adults who already have some experience of using digital devices, internet/email and basic word processing skills and now wish to learn more.

Certificate in Digital Skills (Level 1 or 2)
This course will lead to either a Level 1 or Level 2 certificate in Digital Skills and improve your skills in using Microsoft Office for the workplace or home. It is delivered over 25 weeks with a 2-hour face to face session per week and an expectation of some home study. An initial assessment will be required at the start of the course.

Certificate in Digital Skills (ICDL Advanced - Level 3)
The Level 3 Certificate in Digital Skills (ICDL Advanced) allows you to build on existing digital knowledge and become an expert user of software applications that are essential in business today. The course starts Sept 2024 and ends Feb 2026. All learners will need to complete an initial assessment and attend an interview prior to enrolment on the course.

Digital Skills for Beginners
This is an ideal course for beginners with little or no experience of using a computer. Get to grips with the basics of using a keyboard, mouse and the Internet. Start to use Windows 10, learn about icons and become familiar with the basics of a modern computer. Upon completion of this course, you can progress onto Essential Digital Skills Qualification Entry 3.

Website Development (WordPress)
This 12-session course will give you the opportunity to plan, design and build your own website using free WordPress software. You may be starting your own business and want to get your services on the web or applying for a job that requires website knowledge. If you are interested in creating websites, this is a good place to start and develop your skills.

This 12-session course will give you the opportunity to plan, design and build your own E-Commerce website using free WordPress software. You will create different types of products, connect payment methods, create campaigns and integrate calendar and event planning plugins.
