Below are the general half term dates for the academic year 2026/2027. For some courses the dates below may vary so always follow the guidance given to you by your tutor at the beginning of your course.
Autumn Term
Monday 19 October – Friday 23 October 2026
Monday 21 December 2026 – Friday 1 January 2027
Spring Term
Monday 15 February – Friday 19 February 2027
Easter Break
Monday 22 March – Friday 2 April 2027
Summer Term
Monday 31 May – Friday 4 June 2027
The dates listed in the tabs below give you a rough idea of when exams are sat for different qualifications. They are a rough guide only, and your tutor will advise you of the exact date and time for your exam during your course.
Functional Skills and ESOL exams are not dictated by a nation-wide timetable like GCSEs, and exams are taken during your usual classroom session within a 1-week window set by the service.
These dates are for both English and Maths papers across all levels.
