Skills for Work Event in Thurmaston

Join us at The Roundhill Adult Learning Centre in Thurmaston for a ‘skills for work’ event, showcasing support available to jobseekers in Leicestershire!

This special event is aimed at jobseekers looking to maximise their CV’s by looking at Adult Leaning opportunities in Leicestershire.

Available on the day will be:

• Teams from across GoLearn showcasing courses and learning opportunities near you, including local English and Maths courses,
• A FREE ‘CV Surgery’ with our Employability Team,
• Support identifying your transferable skills and hidden strengths,
• Digital Skills support drop-ins with our professional Digital Skills Tutors,
• FREE Learning and Work Advice,
• And more!

This is a free event with no booking required. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Until 7:00pm on Friday the 31^st January 2025, a 20% discount will be available on fee-paying courses across the service*, including on courses  The discount is designed to help support residents in Leicestershire to access lifelong learning opportunities. This discount is available on both the Full and Reduced Fees and will automatically be applied to the price when enrolling online from 8:30am on 2^nd December. *There are a small number of Level 3 courses that the discount does not apply to.
