Below are the general half term dates for the academic year 2025/2026. For some courses the dates below may vary so always follow the guidance given to you by your tutor at the beginning of your course.
Autumn Term
Monday the 20th of October – Friday the 24th of October 2025
Spring Term
Monday the 16th of February – Friday the 20th of February 2026
Easter Break
Friday 27th of March – Monday the 13th April 2026
Summer Term
Monday the 25th May – Friday the 29th of May 2026
The dates listed in the tabs below give you a rough idea of when exams are sat for different qualifications. They are a rough guide only, and your tutor will advise you of the exact date and time for your exam during your course.
Functional Skills and ESOL exams are not dictated by a nation-wide timetable like GCSEs, and exams are taken during your usual classroom session within a 1-week window set by the service.
These dates are for both English and Maths papers across all levels.
