GoLearn! is delighted to introduce Connect to Work, a new locally led Supported Employment programme designed to help people overcome barriers to work and achieve their employment goals.

Connect to Work offers tailored, one-to-one support for disabled people, those with health conditions, and individuals facing complex challenges who want to work. This includes people who are neurodiverse, have learning disabilities or autism, as well as care leavers, ex-offenders, and others who may need extra support to move into employment. Using the proven ‘place, train and maintain’ model, the programme focuses on helping participants find meaningful jobs and thrive in them.

Participants can receive up to 12 months of intensive support to move into work, and for those already employed but at risk of losing their job, Connect to Work provides up to 4 months of in-work support. This approach ensures people not only get into work but stay there, building confidence and independence.

The programme is managed by Claire Smith, who has recently joined as Project Manager to lead this exciting initiative across Leicestershire.

If you or someone you know is facing barriers to employment and wants to explore opportunities, Connect to Work is here to help.
