NEW Safeguarding QR Code Project

Have you noticed any new additions to your classroom this year? Our classrooms are now all equipped with desk stickers and posters which contain a QR code and, if your learning is based at our Roundhill, Moira or Enderby Adult Learning Centres, you will have also seen the new digital display screens in reception. But why are they there?

The desk stickers and posters you see around our centres are the result of something we call the ‘Safeguarding QR Code Project’. The codes, when scanned by your phone camera, link to information on our website that helps you as a learner understand more about what Safeguarding, Prevent and Fundamental British Values are, as well as what our duty is as a service to keep you safe. Click here to view our service safeguarding information.

We have also created a video to help explain what these terms mean. The video is voiced by our own Mel, who works as a tutor with our Learning for Independence team and is also the Safeguarding Officer for GoLearn.
